About me
I am a Psychologist licensed to practice in Greece and a mental health researcher. I hold a BA in Psychology and a MSc in Liaison Psychiatry from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My professional experience spans hospitals, public institutions, and NGOs, where I have provided psychosocial support and mental health interventions for both adults and children.
Beyond my clinical and research work, I advocate for rights-based, inclusive mental health care that supports individuals and communities. I am also committed to raising awareness of the psychological impact of the climate crisis, and to exploring the role of art as a powerful tool in mental health interventions and research.
I view research as a powerful tool to help people find their voice, share their stories, and advocate for their rights. My work focuses on vulnerable populations, and I strive to find creative and inclusive methods—especially for children—to support self-expression and storytelling.
My research engages directly with globally prioritized mental health challenges—including the mental health impact of climate change, bereavement during pandemics, and the mental health of children in crisis-affected regions.
